Custom Commissioned Artwork
I hold a coastal photography session as part of my process for a commissioned artwork.
The session is highly observational. I am looking to learn about my subject and how they interact with their environment.
The coast is such a special place to so many of us and I like to perform these photographic sessions at a beach close to your heart.
I use either an image or images taken during the photoshoot as a starting point for my artwork.
North Narrabeen Rockpool Photoshoot
This was a photographic session held at Sydney's North Narrabeen Beach.
The image that will inspire the artwork is below. It was a beautiful moment when this gorgeous little soul was toughing water - literally connecting with nature. It was so inspiring.
The image was captured towards the end of the shoot when he was getting a bit tired and his world focused in on this one sensation. (Keep scrolling to see the final artwork!)
