'Last Swim of the Day' showcases that special time before sundown. This painting features an elegantly restrained palette of rust and grey blue. The emotive free brushstrokes which form the women's abstracted coastal world are juxtaposed by the finer detail of the figures, a signature of Esplin’s style.
